DSPs learn how to offer and store medications, update records, and observe/report physical or behavioral changes.
Certified Medication Technicians through the Maryland Board of Nursing must recertify every two years.
Course length : 20 hours over 4 days*
*Note: Registering for Day 1 of this class will automatically register you for Days 2, 3, and 4, occurring on Friday, November 6; Monday, November 9; and Tuesday, November 10.
Cost: $250.00
Recertification Eligibility: Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Renewal Window is 90 days before your expiration date, and up to 30 days after your expiration date.
