About this event

(H St.) Power Flow 1.5-3 @ 500 H St NE, Rear Entrance Move with mindfulness as you link breath and movement, building strength, flexibility, and focus. While fostering awareness of posture alignment, this class offers both meditative awareness and physical challenge. Options are always provided—whether you’re brand new or more experienced—so the practice can be enriching for every level. Why the same class type can feel different depending on the teacher: At Yoga District, our mission is to make yoga accessible and responsive to your needs. Each teacher brings their own style and approach, so we encourage you to explore different teachers and class types. With so many options, you’re sure to find the right fit for your practice. Class Levels: All Levels (1–3): Options for every level of experience. • Level 1–2: For beginners and intermediates. • Level 1.5–2: For beginners with some experience, plus intermediates. • Level 2–3: For intermediate to advanced students. • Level 1.5–3: For students with some experience up to advanced. • Level 1 / 1–1.5: Designed for those brand new to yoga. Class Flow: Classes usually begin with grounding movements to reconnect body and breath, then transition into warming and strengthening postures, followed by poses that emphasize flexibility and release. Each class closes with a relaxation practice, giving you space to let go, integrate, and rest in stillness. This balanced journey supports both physical well-being and awareness of interconnection and compassion—what many consider the heart of yoga. Important Information: Please arrive at least five minutes before class, as our doors lock at the scheduled start time for security. If you need our support, text/call 202-265-YOGA. If you’ve reserved a spot but can’t attend, refunds are not available; however, you may be eligible for a class credit by emailing yogadc@yogadistrict.com.
