College and Career Expo (IDEA PCS)

About this event

We are excited to invite you to participate in an upcoming event connecting high school students (grades 9-12) with career opportunities in the construction field. This is a unique chance for you to engage with eager students, particularly seniors who are preparing to enter the workforce after graduation.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking 4-5 enthusiastic construction/carpentry industry partners to join us for this event. Your participation will help students explore exciting career paths, potential job openings, and apprenticeship programs. This is your opportunity to:

• Share insights into your company and the construction industry.

• Highlight the qualities and skills you seek in potential employees.

• Provide invaluable guidance on the experiences that drive success in your field.

How to Participate

Partners should:

• Host a table to engage with students.

• Bring promotional materials such as swag, business cards/QR codes to connect.

• Consider providing a small demonstration to captivate student interest.

• Share information about apprenticeship opportunities available for seniors.

Join us in shaping the future of our students and the carpentry and construction industry. Your expertise and guidance can make a significant impact!
