Gala for the Leon Grant Family Life Center

For more than 120 years, Mount Calvary Baptist Church has been a beacon of faith, hope, and service in Rockville and throughout Montgomery County. Today, that legacy continues through the Leon Grant Family Life Center (LGFLC)—a place where lives are touched, families are strengthened, and hope is restored.

The LGFLC is more than a building. Through food distribution, health and wellness initiatives, youth programs, recovery support, educational opportunities, job readiness efforts, and other ministries, it continues to serve thousands throughout our community. This is only the beginning. There is so much more that we must do!

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 6:00–9:30 p.m., we will host a gala to benefit the Leon Grant Family Life Center. The evening will feature the Morgan State University Choir, dinner, Community Service Awards, recognition of sponsors and community partners, inspiring stories, and fellowship with civic and community leaders.
