Join a great group of folks in a weekly practice of Sheng Zhen Healing Meditation. This is a drop-in style class where beginners are always welcome.
We practice Stage One of this form. There are ten movements, done seated. They are instantly enjoyable and easy to learn and do. And the benefits for one’s health are many. Like all Sheng Zhen practices, this form elevates your mood and energy and elevates your spirit. The class is co-taught in a relaxed and informal manor by Julia Shucker and Mike Kornely.
It is held at the Schweinhut Senior Center in Silver Spring. (For reference, the center is on Forest Glenn Rd, near Holy Cross Hospital.) It is open to Montgomery County residents, 55 and over. (We have this class nearly every Saturday of the year. The only exceptions are when the center is closed or the rare occasions when neither Julia or I are available.)
