About this event
Classical Ballet is an essential component of any well-rounded dance education. Beyond being its own celebrated art form, ballet provides the important technical foundation for styles such as contemporary and jazz, and it teaches students discipline, focus, grace, strength, and respect. In this Beginner-level class you will learn the fundamentals: Proper ballet attire/demeanor, introduction to barre exercises, basic center work, combinations across the floor, and reverence. Please note that this class is open to teens in addition to adults.
