Board Game Fun & Learn "Castles of Burgundy" at the Bowie Library

About this event

Join us for an afternoon of board games featuring Castles of Burgundy. In this classic euro-style strategy game (ranked in the Top 20 games on BoardGameGeek), each player takes on the role of an aristocrat, originally controlling a small princedom. While playing, they aim to build settlements and powerful castles, practice trade along the river, exploit silver mines, and use the knowledge of travelers. Expect to spend 2-3 hours learning and playing your first game. The teaching game will start at 1:10. New arrivals won't be able to join the game once it's underway, so please plan accordingly.

You're also welcome to play our other games or bring your own. If there's a specific game you'd like to play, please mention it in your RSVP.

This is a recurring event held on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
