Event Description

Connect with fellow GW alumni over light hors d’oeuvres and conversation at UPSIDE on Moore in Rosslyn‚ featuring a thought-provoking discussion with GW School of Business Professor Margaret Ormiston. Bar service and soft drinks will be available.

We tend to think questions help us learn about others. But what if the questions we ask also shape what we see?

Drawing on research examining thousands of exchanges between journalists and CEOs‚ Professor Ormiston will explore how male and female leaders are asked different questions‚ how those questions influence their answers‚ and how those answers shape perceptions of their leadership. Discover what these findings reveal about gender bias and the questions we ask and answer in our own professional lives.

Enjoy networking before and after a brief faculty presentation and audience Q&A.

Registration includes light hors d’oeuvres‚ soft drinks‚ and two drink tickets.

Reserve your spot for an evening of alumni connections and fresh perspectives on leadership!
