Come have a blast with the Constellations crew at our next monthly chamber music reading party!

Here at Constellations, we're all about the magical ability of chamber music to bring people together. And while our main series concerts at the Constellations Music Salon bring the artistry of world-class musicians to Potomac, chamber music isn't just something you witness - it's something that musicians of all levels can partake in first-hand! Join the many Constellations staff, supporters, and friends who have kept their violins, violas, and cellos close at hand as passionate amateurs as we make our way through readings masterworks from across the centuries. This month we'll make our second attempt at the Vincent d'Indy string sextet (originally scheduled for October but postponed) as well as works for oboe and strings (TBD). After reading the main work, we often split off into multiple groups to read trios, quartets, or other combinations. Please feel free to include any requests for these smaller-scale works with your RSVP!

This event is FREE, but please RSVP soon as space is limited.

Not a string player? We'll be hosting these parties regularly and will be mixing up the repertoire each time - so let us know what you play if you'd be interested in joining for future events!

This is a judgment-free zone for music-making and you can feel free to choose your part and double up on a part if you feel more comfortable! No preparation is necessary and parts (and refreshments!) will be provided, but if you'd like to look or listen in advance you can check out the links below:
