About this event

Rhythm, Percussion, Syncopation! These are elements of Tap; a form of dance that crosses into both street and stage venues. Tap is a genre of movement that can be executed both with and without music and has been seen throughout history from the Vaudeville stage to street corners to Broadway! In this Low Intermediate-level class for experienced dancers, you will continue to build on basic Tap technique from the Beginner classes, while progressing to more complex combinations and rhythms. Prerequisites & Suitability: This class is best suited for students with 6 months to 1 year of Tap experience. Please note that this class is open to adult in addition to this youth group. If you’re unsure about suitability, please do a Drop-In for the first class of the session and the instructor will make that determination at the end of class.
