About this event
Event Description: Paul Laurence Dunbar once said, “Why should the world be over-wise in counting all our tears and sighs? Let them only see us while we wear the mask.”
Masks appear in many parts of life, whether for protection, entertainment, or deception. The CAMP Department's Fall Showcase, titled “The Matter of The Mask,” explores the theme of revealing and concealing identity among young people today.
This event will feature live performances, spoken word, theater, film, and more. It will also give the audience insight into what prompts individuals to create a mask or remove it to reveal their hidden truths.
The showcase will be held in the Performance Hall on Friday, November 13th, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, November 14th, at 2 p.m. General admission is $25, and student tickets are $15.
