Arts and Coffee: Conversation and Art History - Michelangelo at Art House 7

About this event

Join us for a stimulating morning of coffee, conversation, and art history as we explore the life, genius, and enduring legacy of Michelangelo, one of the greatest artists of the Renaissance.

Over coffee and light refreshments, we'll discuss Michelangelo's extraordinary achievements as a sculptor, painter, architect, and poet. Together, we'll examine some of his most iconic masterpieces, including David and the breathtaking ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, while exploring the historical, cultural, and religious influences that shaped his work.

We'll consider how Michelangelo's artistic innovations helped define the Renaissance and continue to inspire artists and audiences more than five centuries later. No prior knowledge of art history is necessary—just a curiosity about art, history, and one of the most remarkable creative minds in history.

Please note: There are no hands-on activities offered in this event.
