GWCC Irish Social Dance Class - more experience

About this event

The (GWCC) Greater Washington Céilí Club Set & Céilí Dance class meets 8-9:30pm for more experience level in Silver Spring. NO PARTNER OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED for this chance to learn Irish social dancing (not Riverdance!) from a wonderful teacher, Ann Marie Breheny. This is a relaxed, friendly gathering, allowing the instructor to adapt content and pace every week to meet the group's needs. Wear comfortable clothes and smooth-soled shoes (athletic shoes/sandals/flip flops not recommended), water is provided. Not sure about it? Try a class for free, then register & pay at class. $60/12 classes (cash/check/credit) -- the fee covers the 7pm basics class AND/OR the continuing experience session that follows 8-9:30pm. These classes prepare you to really enjoy the monthly GWCC Céilís as well as céilís held in other locations. ALSO : Watch for announcements about occasional mini-céilís that are open to all (not just registered students), that are held 8-10pm instead of instructional time, dancing a program of classics/dances covered in class, to live music. NO CLASS ON THANKSGIVING
