The Hula Monsters bring a one-of-a-kind, island-flavored roots-music party to the stage—where Hawaiian swing meets Western swing, rockabilly, honky-tonk country, rhythm and blues, country Latin, and good old rock and roll.
Featuring Lynn Kasdorf, Gary Ferguson, Mark Noone, Moe Nelson, and Ben Holmes , this accomplished five-piece delivers hot swing, twangy guitar, steel-soaked melodies, and a seriously danceable groove.
Founded in 1988, the award-winning group has built its sound around a distinctive Hawaiian accent, weaving together swing, blues, country, jazz, rockabilly, and Hawaiian standards with infectious energy and seasoned musicianship.
Come out for an evening of island-flavored grooves, rootsy swing, and rockin’ rhythm with one of the DC area’s most original live bands.
